Anti-Seizure / Anticonvulsant Medications
These drugs were developed to control and limit epileptic seizures, but also are used to treat intense feelings of shooting or stabbing pain caused by neuropathy. Anticonvulsant drugs, unlike antidepressant drugs, relieve pain by interacting directly with nerve tissue.
